Cancellation Policy
How to cancel subscriptions and services across all platforms where Deucks products are available.
1. Overview
You may cancel your subscription to any Deucks product or service at any time. The method of cancellation depends on the platform through which you originally subscribed. This policy covers cancellations for Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Stripe subscriptions.
Important: Simply deleting an app from your device does not cancel your subscription. You must follow the platform-specific steps below to stop future billing.
2. Apple App Store
Cancelling an App Store Subscription iOS / macOS
If you subscribed to a Deucks app through the Apple App Store, Apple manages your subscription billing. To cancel:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions
- Find the Deucks subscription and tap it
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm
Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
What happens after cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
- You retain access to premium features until the period expires
- No partial refunds are issued by Apple for unused time within a billing period
3. Google Play Store
Cancelling a Play Store Subscription Android
If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, Google manages your subscription billing. To cancel:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find the Deucks subscription and tap Cancel subscription
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm
You can also manage subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
What happens after cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged again after the current period ends
- You retain access to premium features until the period expires
- Google may offer a partial refund within a short window after subscribing — check Google's refund policy for details
4. Stripe (Direct Subscriptions)
Cancelling a Stripe Subscription Web / Direct
For subscriptions purchased directly through our website and processed via Stripe:
- Log in to your account on the Deucks website
- Navigate to Account Settings → Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription and confirm
Alternatively, you can email support@deucks.com with the subject "Cancel Subscription" and we will process it within 1 business day.
What happens after cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- You retain access to premium features until the period expires
- If you cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription and have not substantially used the service, you may be eligible for a full refund (see our Refund Policy)
5. Free Trials
If you are on a free trial:
- You must cancel before the trial period ends to avoid being charged
- Cancellation is immediate — you will lose access to trial features upon cancelling
- If you are charged after a trial ends, please contact us or request a refund through the relevant platform
6. Effect of Cancellation
After cancellation takes effect:
- Your account will revert to the free tier (if available) or become inactive
- Any data associated with premium features may be retained for 30 days in case you choose to resubscribe
- After 30 days, premium data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention practices
7. Resubscribing
You can resubscribe at any time by returning to the relevant platform or our website. If you resubscribe within 30 days of cancellation, your previous data and settings may be restored.
